Family Communication Services · Kuala Lumpur
When families need to talk, we help them find the words.
Coaching, facilitation, and writing support for families working through significant conversations — in English, across Malaysia.
What We Offer
Three ways we can support your family
Each arrangement is designed around communication — how a family speaks to each other, listens, and finds shared ground. We do not provide health, legal, or financial advice.
Caregiver Communication Coaching
For adult children coordinating an ageing parent's care across siblings, in-laws, and helpers. Six sessions over three months. We focus on the communication — group messages, update notes, and the difficult words that need to be said kindly.
- Six guided sessions over 90 days
- Written communication templates provided
- Health questions referred to qualified practitioners
Family Decision Workshop
A facilitated half-day for a single family with one significant decision ahead — a move overseas, a parent's relocation, or an operational conversation about a family interest. We design and facilitate the session and produce a shared written note.
- Half-day, one family, one question
- Written shared note of outcomes
- Strictly facilitative — no commercial advice given
Personal Statement Drafting Companion
For someone who wants to put words to a difficult personal truth — a written explanation of a choice, an apology, or a letter to a future grandchild. Two sessions over three weeks. We help with structure, clarity, and tone; the writing stays your own.
- Two sessions, three-week engagement
- Your voice, your words — we only guide structure
- Private and confidential
Why Linenhaus
What makes this arrangement different
Communication-Only Focus
We work solely on how families speak and write to one another. We do not offer medical, legal, or financial advice, keeping our scope honest and our help concrete.
Designed for Malaysian Families
Family dynamics in Malaysia carry particular textures — multigenerational households, blended cultural expectations, distance between siblings. We know this territory well.
Fully Confidential
Conversations and documents prepared during any engagement remain private. Nothing shared with us is passed on. Discretion is part of what you are paying for.
Written Outputs You Can Keep
Every engagement produces something on paper — shared notes, communication guides, or a personal statement. Families leave with a document, not just a feeling.
Clear, Contained Engagements
We work in defined time frames — six sessions, a half-day, two meetings. There is no open-ended dependency. You know what you are signing up for from the first conversation.
Tactful, Non-Pressuring Approach
We do not push families towards any particular outcome. Our role is to improve the quality of the conversation, not to decide what the right answer should be.
Is there a conversation in your family that hasn't happened yet?
Sometimes the hardest part is finding a way to start. We can help you think through how to approach it — reach out for a no-pressure initial conversation.
Common Questions
Questions families usually ask us
Who are these services for?
These services are for adults navigating a significant family situation — coordinating care for an ageing parent, preparing for a major family decision, or wanting to put something personal into writing. You do not need to be in crisis to work with us.
Are you therapists or counsellors?
No. We are communication and facilitation practitioners. We work on the practical side of how families express themselves and listen to each other. If something in a session points towards a need for mental health support, we will gently suggest that you speak to a qualified professional.
What happens in a first session?
We begin with a straightforward conversation about your situation — what is happening, who is involved, and what you are hoping to get from working with us. There is no obligation to continue after this initial meeting.
Can sessions be held online?
Yes. Most of our coaching and drafting sessions are held via video call, which is particularly useful when family members are in different parts of Malaysia or overseas. The Family Decision Workshop is usually more effective when held in person, but we can discuss what suits your family best.
What are the fees and how do I pay?
Fees are listed on each service: RM 2,340 for Caregiver Communication Coaching, RM 1,580 for the Family Decision Workshop, and RM 460 for Personal Statement Drafting. Payment details are confirmed during the initial conversation. We accept bank transfer.
Is everything we share kept private?
Yes. What you share during an engagement is held in confidence. We do not discuss client situations with third parties, and any documents produced during our work together belong to you. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
